Hello Lovelies. Let's talk for a moment about real, raw, creativity. A couple years ago, this guy named Evan Weiss decided to record one new song every seven days for a year about whatever was going on in his life that week. After a bit of editing the album 52 Weeks was released under his solo name Into It Over It. I kid you not when I say this is some of the realest shit I've ever heard. Here's some of my favorite tracks off the album.



1. Anchor "I'll be there for you tomorrow, steady and faithful as your anchor, trying to make the water safer in the wake of this town."

2. Friday at Brian's (I have to be up in 4 hours)"Win or lose, this is partly mine. We can keep failing missions from time to time. We can always just take the jet plane, because there's 10,000 people in Moscow who still don't know our names."

3. Introduce This to Your Parents "So maybe you should try harder to begin to try trying less, I swear I'm not this hard to impress. You're way too funny to give me much less, I'll chalk it up to inexperience."

4. The Worst Company to Keep "It doesn't take a genius to see I'm not really into this, pushy invitations just aren't my thing. But you've been making assumptions out of fleeting emotions, so I'll bury the hatchet and say what I need to say."

5. ...and I Bite My Nails "May you come true, to come around and let everyone down with me. You see, i've got plans and they don't involve a single friend here, to which you've got friends on which your plans will rest for years and years."

6. Pinky Swear "So while I sat there motor humming on the shoulder I thought I'd find a pen and start to write my failures out. But then the lights were gone and both sides of the paper were full, so hazards off, turn signal on, gas pedal down."

7. Ashley's Big Adventure "This building's like a factory, with the noise outside your bedroom and your boyfriend's face in the frame staring back at me, I can hardly sleep."

8. Fak It "If we're having fun, then it's worth it. Well are we having fun? Cause I'll show you what you should have done. You'd have been better off just lighting your money on fire."

9. Everybody's (fucking) Crazy "It's perception as a curse and what's worse is apathy is friends with me. I haven't laughed in a long time."

10. Batsto "Cold pavement under static sky - gaining patience, but losing sight - we wrote off our problems as better times.'
